Ombre Powder Eyebrows

Ombre brows also known as powder brows are created by gently building up layers of soft, pixelated shading. This is a great treatment to mimic the effect of brow makeup created with a pencil, pomade or powder. The front of the brow is soft and light, gradually getting darker towards the tail to give the perfect ombre effect. We can keep the shading soft to achieve a delicate haze of colour once healed, or build up the shading to give a deeper colour and more defined shape – the choice is yours! This style is suitable for most skin types but especially suits skin that is oily and/or has large pores.

Lip Blush

This permanent lip treatment is designed to mimic the effects of your favourite lipstick to give you fuller, more defined lips. Shading can be carefully applied to contour the lips and help give a plumper appearance overall. There is a range of pigments to choose from depending on your personal style and skin tone, but we recommend choosing something similar to your everyday lip colour.

Combination Eyebrows

This style is the perfect combination of strokes and shading. We can create a variety of looks by blending these two techniques together to achieve a fluffy, natural but defined look – it’s the ultimate brow treatment. You could opt for strokes all through the brow with a light dusting of shade, or strokes just at the front leading into a perfectly defined, shaded tail. Whether you prefer your brows textured and natural or sleek and defined, we can create the perfect look for you.

Eyebrows healing process

Day 1-2: Right After Treatment

The first day or two after your treatment, you can expect a red and swollen brow area. The pigment will also look too dark - but this is normal. In these first two days, do not touch or wash your brows yet, and remember that it may look bad now but it won’t last

Day 3-4: The Healing Begins

The brows have now been given some time to process the physical situation, and they can start to heal. You can expect it to still be red and a bit itchy, but the swelling can start to calm down.

Day 5-7: Scabbing and Flaking

These days are by far the most annoying. This is when your brow area is expected to start scabbing, which is perfectly normal as your skin layers regenerate. While it can be itchy, do not scratch or peel! Let it all fall into place (literally, just let the scabs fall off), or else you risk ruining the ombre brow, or worse, leaving a scar.

Day 8-10: Light Brows

By day 8 or 10, the scabbing should subside, which would leave your eyebrows looking a little patchy and a bit too light. This is only because of the new layers your skin has developed on top of the pigment. Once this settles in, the colour will resurface so there is no need to worry.

Day 11-28: You Can Breathe Now

The first 10 days are most crucial and if you have gotten through them unscathed, you are now in the safe zone. Your eyebrows are not yet in their final form, but you can start to ease up on how you follow the aftercare guide. Ask your artist if they think your brows are ready for your routine again, and with their go signal, you can start right away!

However, we still recommend keeping the sweating and sun exposure limited as these can slow down the ombre powder brow healing process.

Day 29-42: Healed! Now, The First Touch Up

It takes an average of 4 to 6 weeks for powder brows to completely heal. Right around the 6th week, it is time for your first touch-up. This is to fix any imperfections, patchy spaces, and other factors that your artist can look into.

Lips healing process

Day 1- Lip Swelling, Tenderness, and Colour Intensity

The discomfort of the lip blush procedure starts as soon as the anaesthetic wears off. The ache in this stage includes swelling, tenderness, and deep colour intensity. Your lips will start swelling a few minutes into the procedure as a natural reaction to the tiny incisions made using the electric device. Initially, you may not feel the swelling, but your lips feel heavy and swollen as the numbing effect wears off. Your lip colour may get intense on the first day, and this might be a good thing or too much, depending on your preference. If you loathe the bold colour, hang in there and watch it fade to the right shade in the next few days.

Day 2- Less Lip Swelling, More Tenderness, and a lot of Dryness

Typically, the lip swelling subsides on the second day, and your lips assume their average size. If the node is still significant at this stage, check with your artist to rule out an allergic reaction. As the swelling lessens, the tenderness increases, and you might feel discomfort similar to a sunburn. Additionally, your lips feel dry and tight, and scabbing starts forming. Apply the recommended moisturizer to help you endure the pain. Avoid wetting the lips or activities that extend the lips, such as laughing.

Day 3 and 4- Heavy Lip Peeling and Dryness

The most challenging stage in the lip blush healing process is days 3 and 4. The lip dryness goes overboard, and the scabs start to peel, starting at the centre and spreading in patches to the lip edges. The peeling skin is regenerating, and you might also experience an itching sensation. Do not give in to the urge, as it will ruin the pigmentation.

Days 5- 10 Minor Peeling and Colour Ghosting

Colour ghosting is a regular occurrence in the day-by-day healing process for lip blush as the pigment sets in under the skin. The colour may disappear, but this shouldn’t cause alarm. The remaining scabs continue to peel as your lips regain their softness.
